
Critics agree that much of Southeast Asia desperately needs judicial reform and rule of law. Yet, there is remarkably little comparative scholarship on law and legal institutions in the region. Surprise, surprise
Burma's Supreme Court finally rejected Suu Kyi's appeal against her house arrest. This coming just days before Suu Kyi is due to be released from house arrest. Again, there's really no surprise at the outcome...
